"I forget" is for if you don't know that information right now. "I forgot" means that the forgetting happened in the past, leaving open the possibility that you might have remembered in the meantime. You could also use the present perfect, "I've forgotten", which means that a past event (forgetting) is continuing to affect the present (you haven't yet remembered).
So - Messenger forced me to create PIN code. I did it,, but I forgot it. I was sure it is possible to reset it somehow, i turned off safe memory option, but nów if I want to turn it on, i need PIN code. And I can't reset it without turning this option on. And I can't turn it on without PIN code. Idk what to do now :|
I apparently forgot my login credentials for my local sunshine instance. I ran sunshine.exe --creds user password and it said new credentials were created. My question is, what are those new credentials? How do I see them? If they are the default ones I don't remember what those are either. Please help. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Figured it out.
I had changed my mp recently but forgot to write down the new password. I was logged in on my phone with fingerprint unlock but now I'm logged out. Is there any hope of recovery? I have my account synced up with my yubikey 5 NFC, is there any way I can get access back with the key without the master password or have I really fucked up?
I forgot would be used if you have failed to remember something on one specific occasion. "I forgot to do my homework" (the act of forgetting occurred in the past) I forget has a more present meaning, and refers to something relevant which cannot be recalled immediately. "I placed my watch in a secure location, but I forget where" (the information cannot presently be remembered)
"Forget" is present tense, "forgot" is past tense. If you say "I forget," you're indicating that you currently don't remember something or that not remembering said thing is an ongoing issue, whereas "I forgot" refers to having not remembered something at a prior time.
Forgot to submit timesheet - how screwed am I? I forgot to submit my timesheet for 11/16 - 11/30, and the Time Period Lockout just ended, so I'm not able to submit it through Workday. I already contacted my supervisor, but I haven't heard back from them yet, and am incredibly nervous.
We’re a Zero-Knowledge platform so we can’t help you if the master password and recovery phrase is lost. I recommend trying to remember your master password. If you need to start over, support can delete your account and you can start fresh.
I recently noticed that Gmail tries to autocorrect when I write "have forgot". I had to search about this to first-time notice that actually "have forgotten" is the more common form. This was so confusing to me because "have forgotten" makes me think twice to accept that it's also okay, although I'd always say like "the forgotten ruins". What would you use as the past participle form of "forget"?
