I have the setting for discord to show what game I'm playing from others disabled, but it still shows publicly what I'm doing, is anyone else having this issue? :o
Discord is always at the ready to stream a game you're playing. You can hide your activity from your friends, but I don't think it's possible to disable this specific feature.

How do I prevent discord from detecting games that I am currently playing? I know how to hide what game I am playing from showing to other users. However, discord still detects that I am playing that game. This feels like an invasion of privacy.

I've been unsuccessful for a while now been unable to hide my game activity in my status. I have it set as disabled in "Activity Status > Display current activity as a status message" and yet any game I play still shows up in my status and people in servers are able to see. Simple solutions here for Discord devs: - Option to disable automatic game detection for Activity Status Manual method is present, we can manage the list of games\apps by ourselfs. - Individual toggle for each and any detected game\app which will define whatever that game will be or will be not shown in status.
Sometimes games might fail to launch or w/e and then u have to re-launch the game and if the person hasnt set their settings to hide when sum1 enters game then it keeps popping up that u are re-launching. Also works well if you are playing "adult" games and dont want to be embarrassed with friends seeing you playing something more pornographic.
There's a setting to hide your currently playing game, go to your user settings and then game activity, where you first added the game for discord to display. There's a slider 👌
How do I remove this? I'd much rather people know what games I'm playing, which is the entire point of the game status on discord. I hate this shitty advertising, it's so scummy.
