Police say an Oklahoma woman who died on Christmas Day while spending time with family had been shot and killed by a man who was allegedly shooting target practice half a mile away.

Two men have been injured, one seriously, in a double stabbing in Long Eaton.

Officers were called to London Road at about 8.25pm on Sunday after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision.
