The National Weather Service reports that on Dec. 28, Watertown received 2.1 inches of snow. Sisseton reported 2 inches, Britton reported 3.2 inches. Snow didn't hit the western part South Dakota with the same force. Fairpoint received about half an inch while Spearfish got 1.5 inches, according to the NWS.
While areas of northern Wisconsin received over a foot of snowfall overnight Dec. 28-29, southern Wisconsin received around 1 inch.
