Some of the largest ichthyosaur fossils have been found near the old mining town of Berlin, NV. Millions of years ago, Nevada was covered by a warm sea, and when these giants died their skeletons settled into the ocean floor. As the earth’s continents shifted and time passed, these incredible fossils were preserved and now give us a glimpse into life from a prehistoric world. #
